A monumental baroque sacred building in a dominant location with a double tower facade and transept, which was rebuilt from 1706 to 1732 according to plans by Jakob Prandtauer and Josef Munggenast (from 1718) instead of a previous church. The wall and ceiling painting is the main church work of the painter Daniel Gran .
