The simple Gothic church was given a baroque style. There was a fire in 1739. The church was renovated around 1900. The interior was restored in 1975/1976.

architecture

The church is surrounded by a cemetery.

Church exterior

The simple nave and the choir under a common gable roof with a pilaster structure of the facade from the 18th century were created using the walls of the Gothic previous building. At the end of the choir, tracery windows can be seen between stepped buttresses. The three-storey western tower presented around 1765 has round-arched sound windows and clock gable and wears an onion helmet. The southern porch has a facade around 1900. The southern choir extension was built in 1899/1900. To the north of the choir is a funeral hall from 1900 which was changed in 1964/1965.

Church interior

The interior of the nave, with three bays, was vaulted after 1739 with lancet barrels over belt arches on flat pilasters with battlements. The west gallery is deep. The retracted triumphal arch was expanded to make it round in 1900. The two-bay choir with a five-eighth closure from the 14th century received a star rib vault without consoles in the second half of the 15th century. The choir has free console stones on the walls. In the north wall of the choir there are two round-arched openings to the three-bay chapel extension from 1964/1965. To the south of the choir there is a groin vaulted square entrance hall as a former Gothic sacristy from the 14th century. In the north wall of the choir there is a small sacrament niche framed in stone with a gable-like structure and a rose lattice. The sacristy portal in the south wall was built around 1900.

The stained glass by Penner and Schürer from 1900 shows in the choir Johannes Nepomuk and Leopold and in the nave, ornamental windows from 1898 and 1899. The ceiling painting in the sacristy was done in 1900 by the painter V. Sedlacek.

Furnishing

Ignaz Leinmüller created the high altar with a neo-Gothic structure and was consecrated in 1901. Two neo-Gothic side altars made by Plakolb and Hochmuth were consecrated in 1904.

The sculpture Trinity above the Triumphal Arch was created around 1700 and was transferred here from the abandoned Bründl Chapel.

The organ was built by Josef Loyp in 1862. Silvius Creuz mentions a bell in 1740.
