history

The Kleinzeller parish church was built in the 11th century, as Romanesque components are still present. It was destroyed by the Hussites around 1450 and rebuilt in 1476. It is a three-bay, medieval hall building with Baroque style around 1760 with a late-baroque gallery and a late-Gothic choir.

Around 1772 a miraculous image of the Landshut Madonna by Johann Michael Greiter was placed in the left side altar. The Rococo pulpit, designed in 1780, is remarkable. Some statues come from Franz Schmalzl . The frescoes on the choir arch are by H. Duschk from 1941.
