history

The parish church built by the architect Julius Bergmann (1896–1969, from Perchtoldsdorf) from 1954 to 1959 , St. Maria Queen of the Universe (St. Severin, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus) is a closed cubic building with a rectangular floor plan with a recessed, square, windowed choir. Its natural stone facade is elevated and gabled like a tower in the middle. The three-arched vestibule has four mosaics made of colored stone and labeled " H.Bauch 1964" with the symbols of the evangelists. Behind it is a large hall with a beamed ceiling, which is divided by niches and blind arches. Among other things, there is a hall-like, pillar-supported organ gallery. On the mosaic on the choir wall is St. Mary depicted as Queen of the Universe. The windows of the church are made of stained glass.
