architecture

Church exterior

The west tower has a top with beveled corners. The tin hood was put on after a fire in 1807.

Church interior

The nave of the church has one nave and three bays. The choir has moved in and raised a little. The one-yoke choir is closed on 3/8. Both the nave and the choir are random Hat barrel vaulted . The west gallery has two bays. There is rich stucco in the choir that dates back to the construction period. In the nave there is a simple division of fields. The nave is divided by richly decorated capitals with angel heads and fruit cords.

Furnishing

The richly decorated stucco high altar was created around 1700 and probably changed at the end of the 18th century. The altarpiece shows St. Stephen. The picture was painted by Anton Hitzenthaler in 1797 and restored in 1900. The old high altar painting from the end of the 17th century now hangs on the music choir. The side altars are from the old church, which was built in 1639. They were revised around 1680. On the right side altar is a statue of St. Mary and Child from the second third of the 18th century. The pulpit was built at the end of the 17th century. The wrought iron grille is from 1839.
