The parish church Neuhofen im Innkreis is located in Neuhofen in the market town of Neuhofen im Innkreis in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Nikolaus belongs to the deanery of Ried im Innkreis in the diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was mentioned in a document in 1230. The current church was built in 1732/1733 with the master builder Johann Ceregetti from Ried.

architecture

The single-aisle, three-bay, barrel-vaulted nave is joined by the drawn-in single-bay, hanging-dome-vaulted choir with a straight end. The west tower has an onion helmet.

Furnishing

The high altar from Andrichsfurt from the 2nd half of the 17th century was changed. The figure of Nicholas around 1700 is in the manner of Thomas Schwanthaler . The side altars are from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century. A small attachment altar from 1740 is from the Schwanthaler workshop.

The pulpit is baroque. The seated figure of Christ in misery around 1660 is in the manner of Thomas Schwanthaler. The figures on the walls are from the 17th and 18th centuries.
