The Linz-Solarcity parish church is located in the Pichling district of Linz , Ebelsberg in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Elia belongs to the dean's office Linz-Süd in the diocese of Linz .

In 2006 the church with pastoral care center in the Solarcity in Pichling was built according to plans by the architects Helmut Pointner and Herbert Pointner from Freistadt in a postmodern style and raised to a parish by Bishop Ludwig Schwarz .

The building is equipped with a photovoltaic system. The electricity generated during the day illuminates the church at night.
