The Roman Catholic parish church Steinbach am Ziehberg is located in the municipality of Steinbach am Ziehberg in the Kirchdorf district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. Florian and belongs to the Windischgarsten Dean's Office in the Diocese of Linz . The building is a listed building .

Location description

The church is in the center of the village. The cemetery, which is also listed, is attached to the building.

history

The church was built between 1778 and 1780. The church tower dates from 1877 and 1878. In 1954 a restoration took place.

The building is a small, sober building that is typical of the Josephinist period. The west tower has a pointed helmet.

Church interior

The single nave longhouse has two bays. Above that is a flat hanging dome. The slightly drawn in, one-yoke choir ends in the 5/10 end. The frescoes date from around 1870.
