Crop Science (Journal)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The journal Agronomy (German Journal of Agronomy) was a journal for agricultural crops and member magazine of the Society of Agronomy . It was published from 1996 (vol. 1) to 2009 (vol. 13) by Eugen Ulmer Verlag , Stuttgart, initially in four and from 1999 in two individual issues per year.

This specialist journal was used to document scientific results in the form of original and review articles. Articles on applied-oriented issues with regional relevance in the Central European agricultural area were preferred. The language of publication was predominantly German.

For structural and financial reasons, the journal had to give up its independence in 2010. Since then it has been integrated into the journal for cultivated plants published by the Federal Research Institute for Cultivated Plants ( Julius Kühn Institute ) .
