Phartis
Phartis ( ancient Greek Φάρτις Phartis or Φάρτη Phártē ) is in Greek mythology a daughter of Danaos , the king of Libya , from an Ethiopian mother. She is therefore one of the Danaids .
At the mass wedding of the 50 daughters of Danaos with the 50 sons of Aegyptus , at which lot decided on the pairing, she was assigned Eurydamas , the son of a Phoenician mother, as her husband. Like all of her sisters with the exception of the Hypermestra , she killed her husband on their wedding night.
