Pherendates (II.) Was an Achaemenid satrap in Egypt .
Life
Egypt had 404 BC. Its independence from the Achaemenid rule was regained, but was in 342/341 BC. By Artaxerxes III. conquered again for the Persian Empire. Before his return to Babylon , the king installed Pherendates as a satrap in Egypt, about whose life nothing else is known. The duration of his reign is also unknown, but for 333 BC. Is documented as an Egyptian satrap Sabakes .
