Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES) is an American company that operates the Philadelphia Refinery Complex. PES was formed in 2012 as a spin-off from Sunoco by the Carlyle Group .

The planned IPO was postponed in 2016.

The refinery complex consists of the two locations Point Breeze ( ) with a capacity of 145,000 bpd and Girard Point ( ) with 190,000 bpd. Point Breeze specializes in lighter oil, Girard Point can also process heavy crude oil. World iconWorld icon
