The Philadelphion was a building complex on the square of the same name (today Şehzadebaşı) in the former Constantinople . It was located near the Grand Palace and originally also included a capitol .

The entrance was adorned with the sculptural groups of the tetrarchs that are now in St. Mark's Square in Venice . The Philadelphion was on the main street leading from the Golden Gate to the Great Church, along with other buildings and places adorned with statues of honor, sculptures and mythological groups such as the Augusteion, the Forum of Constantine (Çemberlitaş), the Forum of Theodosios and the Forum of Arcadia (Aksaray). In today's urban area of ​​Istanbul, no more archaeological remains are recognizable. Knowledge of the Philadelphion is based on written records.
