Philammon

Philammon is the son of Chione and Apollo in Greek mythology . He was an excellent musician who inherited his talent from Apollon.

He belonged to the Argonauts and founded the Argive Mysteries in Lerna . He found his death during the defense of Delphi against the Phlegyians .

Philammon had two children: Eumolpos and Thamyris , the latter with the nymph Argiope .
