Philemon Mukarno (* 1968 in Jakarta , Indonesia ) is a Dutch composer of Indonesian origin.

Life

After training as a sound engineer , Philemon Mukarno studied guitar from 1994 to 1998 at the Rotterdam Conservatory (with Enno Voorhorst , Maarten Kaaij en Dick Hogeveen ) and from 1995 to 2002 composition (with René Uijlenhoet , Marc Verhoeven , Klaas de Vries and Peter-Jan Wagemans ) .

Originally understanding himself as a "sound artist", Philemon Mukarno sees the effect of his music based on " sound ".
