Philip Quarles van Ufford

Philip Quarles van Ufford (born October 11, 1939 ) is a Dutch development sociologist . Quarles van Ufford is a professor at the Free University of Amsterdam . His best-known work is Moral critique of development , published in 2003 . Among other things, he deals with the relationship between power and religion in Southeast Asia and with aspects of globalization.
