Philip Freiherr von dem Bussche

Philip Freiherr von dem Bussche (born April 2, 1950 ) is a trained farmer and member of the East Westphalian noble family von dem Bussche .

Life

In 1975 Philip von dem Bussche graduated from the University of Cologne with a degree in business administration. He has been managing his parents' business at Ippenburg Castle since 1976 and has been involved in an arable farm in Saxony through a GbR since 1991 .

From 1997 to 2006 Philip Freiherr von dem Bussche was President of the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft eV The strategic course for the structuring and further development of the DLG with the establishment of the specialist center for agriculture and the food industry and the test centers for technology and operating resources as well as for food also bear his signature like the consistent internationalization of the DLG.

From 2005 to 2012 he was a member of the Executive Board of KWS Saat , and since 2008 he has been the company's Executive Board spokesman. Freiherr von dem Bussche is also a member of the advisory board of Oldenburgische Landesbank AG .
