The Philipp Müller Medal.

The Philipp Müller Medal was awarded by the Free German Youth (FDJ) of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) on the occasion of the Volkskammer elections in the GDR on October 17, 1954. The award was given to FDJ members who had achieved excellent results in the preparation and implementation of the popular election.

Appearance and wearing style

The medal has the shape of a waving blue flag with the portrait of Philipp Müller . Below is the two-line inscription: Alles für d. Victory d. National. Front / read in the 1954 popular elections . There are also copies of the medal with a red flag. The flag is surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves on the left and lower edge. It was worn on the upper left chest of the borrower.
