In the following season 2004/2005 he was for the first time the regular libero of supervolley enns. After this year, at the age of 17, the first club change to VCA Hypo Niederösterreich followed. In the years that followed, several other changes were made. At the age of 20 he was called up for the first time in the national team. In the 2011/2012 season he was under contract with Volley Amriswil for the first time abroad. Many other foreign engagements followed.

Beach volleyball:

In the summer of 2006 in particular, he successfully played beach volleyball with Christoph Berger, the older brother of Hypo Tyrol's Alexander Berger . The two became U-20 national champions and achieved numerous other top placements on their home tour. Since his first indoor national team summer in 2008, however, Kroiss has not been active on the sand.
