Philipp Raulfs (born April 25, 1991 in Gifhorn ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2017 .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 2007, Philipp Raulfs completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician. After graduating from high school in 2012, he studied construction technology as a dual course of study at the University of Hanover . In 2016 he began studying mechanical engineering at Leibniz University Hannover , which he completed with a Master of Science degree in 2019.

politics

Raulfs has been a member of the Hillerse Community Council since 2011 and is chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there. He has been a member of the Meinersen Samtgemeinde council since 2016.

In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2017 , he received a direct mandate in the Gifhorn-Süd state electoral district .

Since 2019 he has been chairman of the SPD in the Gifhorn district.
