Philipp von Hoyenberg

Philipp Freiherr von Hoyenberg (* 1969 in Wuppertal ) is a German notary and legal scholar.

Von Hoyenberg studied law in Freiburg, Heidelberg and Georgetown University in Washington, DC After completing his legal clerkship at the Superior Court in Berlin , he initially worked as a lawyer in Berlin and Washington, DC at the international law firm WilmerHale. In 2010 he was appointed notary in Wuppertal-Elberfeld.

After receiving his doctorate (Heidelberg, 1994), he published regularly, mainly on corporate law and inheritance law . Among other things, he is the author of Beck's legal advisors in dtv on corporate acquisitions and stock corporations . In the Munich Contract Manual he is the author of the section on corporate acquisitions. In addition, his book “Anticipated Succession” was published in 2010 by CH Beck .

Von Hoyenberg is chairman of the board of trustees of the community foundation for children in Wuppertal and a member of the advisory board of the Wuppertal Zoo Association .
