Philippa FitzAlan

Philippa FitzAlan (also Philippe ) († September 13, 1399 ) was an English noblewoman.

Philippa FitzAlan was a daughter of Sir Edmund FitzAlan and his wife Sibyl Montagu. Her father was the eldest but illegitimate son of Richard FitzAlan, 10th Earl of Arundel and his first wife Isabel le Despenser . Her first marriage was to Sir Richard Cergeaux from Colquite in Cornwall . With him she had four daughters and one son, including:

  • Richard Cergeaux († 1396)
  • Philippa Sergeaux († 1420) ∞ Robert Pashley († 1407)
  • Alice Cergeaux (around 1386-1452)

  • Elizabeth Cergeaux (around 1379 – before 1414) ∞ Sir William Marney (around 1370–1414)

After the death of her first husband in 1393, she married John Cornewall , who later became 1st Baron Fanhope. The marriage remained childless.
