Philippe Pignarre
Philippe Pignarre (* 1952 ) is a French historian , author, professor of psychotropic drugs in clinical psychology at the Université Paris 8 and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years .
Pignarre is the founder and director of the series »Les empêcheurs de penser en rond«, which specializes in research and debates in psychiatry, psychoanalysis, ethnopsychiatry, philosophy, epistemology and anthropology of medical practice. He is also the director of the “Institut Synthélabo pour le progrès de la connaissance”, a company of the Synthélabo group, which is responsible for the book publications of “Les empêcheurs de penser en rond” and organizes debates about the professions in the health care system.
