Philippe Jean Marie de Chauveron (born November 15, 1965 in Paris ) is a French film director and screenwriter .

Life

Philippe de Chauveron was born in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. In 1986 he received his diploma at the film school l'École supérieure d'études cinématographiques in Paris.

He was best known for the French comedy Monsieur Claude and his daughters , for which he directed and wrote the screenplay. The film had over eleven million admissions in France alone, making it one of the most successful films in France.
