Philippi Canyon
Coordinates: 65 ° 45 ′ S , 78 ° 30 ′ E
The Philippi Canyon is a deep-sea trench in the Cooperation Sea off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land .
It is probably named after the German geologist Emil Philippi (1871-1910), a member of the Gauss expedition (1901-1903) led by Erich von Drygalski .
