Phillip Mills (born February 13, 1955 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand entrepreneur and former hurdler .

At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , he was sixth in the 110 m hurdles and eighth in the 400 m hurdles . In 1980 he was New Zealand champion in the 110 m hurdles.

In the 1980s he and his father Les Mills , a former discus thrower and shot putter, developed group programs for the fitness studios of the joint family business. In 1997 he founded the international marketing of fitness programs such as Body Pump , the company Les Mills International .
