Phillip Rhee
Phillip Rhee (born September 7, 1960 in Seoul , South Korea ) is a South Korean- American actor , film director , film producer and screenwriter .
Life
Rhee grew up in San Francisco and began learning various martial arts at the age of four . His big brother Simon Rhee is also an actor. He won many titles in Taekwondo , Hapkido and Kendō . Rhee's uncle was a famous film director and so Rhee decided to follow in his uncle's footsteps in his early years. In 1990 Rhee married his wife Amy Rhee , who starred in two of his films. He currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a screenwriter.
As a director and screenwriter, he distinguished himself for the third and fourth part of the best-of-the-best film series. As a producer he was involved in all films.
