Phillip Violett (born May 28, 1985 ) is a Canadian biathlete .

Phillip Violett studies at Northern Michigan University and starts for the Ski Club Vail . In the 2009/10 Biathlon NorAm Cup he was 18th overall. The first international championship was the North American Biathlon Championships in Fort Kent in 2010 , in which Violet was the best Canadian in the sprint, despite missing all targets, finishing seventh. He also finished seventh in the pursuit race. In the mass start race he came in 13th place and again showed poor shooting performance with 15 missed shots in 20 attempts. In the 2010/11 season of the Biathlon NorAm Cup , the Canadian was able to place on a podium for the first time in the pursuit race in Jericho, second behind Wynn Roberts and ahead of Beau Thompson . He improved from sixth place in the sprint by four positions. In the overall ranking he was 21.
