PVH (formerly Phillips-Van Heusen ) is a clothing company based in New York City , USA . PVH includes u. a. the Calvin Klein Corporation, Van Heusen, Izod, Arrow, and G. H. Bass. Total sales of PVH total was in 2017 8.4 billion US dollars . Around 52% of this was generated by Tommy Hilfiger, 30% Heritage Brands and 18% Calvin Klein.

The shoemaker George Henry Bass bought a shoe factory in 1876, became the sole owner the following year and gave the company his name. 1987 G. H. Bass & Co. is taken over by PVH. In 1995 PVH acquires the knitwear manufacturer Izod, and in 2000 the license to manufacture shirts for Van Heusen and Kenneth Cole. In 2003 PVH took over Calvin Klein and in 2007 Superba.

In 2010 the company took over Tommy Hilfiger Corporation for around 2.2 billion euros from the investment company Apax Partners . In 2013, PVH took over the New York-based Warnaco Group with sales of around 2.5 billion US dollars.

PVH also has licenses for numerous other brands. PVH employs over 10,000 people.
