The Phillpot Bluff is a rock cliff in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It looms between the Turk Glacier and the Sheraton Glacier in the southern part of the Mawson Escarpment .

Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956, 1960 and 1973 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1973 after the Australian meteorologist Henry Robert Phillpot (1919-2018), head of the Antarctic Meteorological Research Center in Melbourne from 1965 to 1969.
