Philmore Davidson
Philmore "Boots" Davidson (* 1928 in Port of Spain , † 1993 in London ) was a Trinidadian arranger and musician on the steelpan .

Philmore Davidson was one of the leading figures of the Casablanca Steel Orchestra, one of the oldest steel bands in Trinidad. He was also a member of the TASPO , which toured England in 1951 . During this trip, Davidson, nicknamed Boots because of his large feet , considered settling in London, but it wasn't until 1955 that he actually moved.
