Phoenix Chinese News and Entertainment (CNE) Channel is one of five television networks operated by Phoenix Television . It started broadcasting in August 1999 to provide a channel to Chinese people living in Europe . The London- based broadcaster is free to receive and transmits via Eurobird 1 satellite . Self-produced programs include “Europe Today” and “Chinese in Europe Express”. The transmission is in Chinese.
