Stephan Münchmeyer (born January 11, 1980 in Suhl ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete .

Stephan Münchmeyer lives in Oberhof and started for WSV Oberhof 05 . Internationally, he first appeared in a race in the Grand Prix series in Klingenthal in August 2000, and turned 40 there. The next internationally significant deployment followed in December 2001 in Vuokatti , where he performed the Gundersen method in the B World Cup 17th was. That same month, on December 29, 2001, he made his debut in the World Cup in Oberwiesenthal , where Münchmeyer was 26th and won his first points. In January 2002 he achieved his best World Cup result with rank 16 in Val di Fiemme . Until 2006 he was repeatedly deployed in the A and B World Cup. He was able to achieve results in the top ten in the B World Cup again and again, winning a Gundersen competition in Pragelato and a sprint each in Høydalsmo and Vuokatti in 2005 . He finished the 2004/05 season as the overall winner, and in 2005/06 he finished second behind Florian Schillinger . In the World Cup he ran into the points several times, the best result in the overall World Cup was 30th place in the 2004/05 season. In 2006 Münchmeyer ended his career.
