Phokos (son of Aiakos)
Phokos ( old Greek: Φῶκος) is a figure in Greek mythology . He is the son of Aiakos and Psamathe ; his wife Asteria bore him the twins Krisos and Panopeus .
He was murdered out of jealousy by his brothers Telamon and Peleus , whereupon Psamathe, in revenge, set a terrible wolf on Peleus' herds. Only after Thetis , the wife of Peleus, pleaded with Psamathe, did she stop the killing and petrify the wolf.
