Psamathe

Psamathe ( Greek  Ψάμαθη ) is a nereid in Greek mythology .

She is the mother of Phokos , whose father is Aiakos . She punishes Peleus , who murdered his half-brother Phokos by chasing a wolf on his flock. At the request of Thetis , the wife of Peleus, she petrified the monster.
