Piazza Vittoria
The Piazza Vittoria is a square in Palermo . It extends east to the Archbishop's Palace and Palazzo Sclafani . Next to Piazza Vittoria is the Piazza Parlamento with the Norman Palace , the seat of the Sicilian Parliament.
Most of the space is taken up by Villa Bonanno, a palm garden that was laid out in 1905.
Excavations of Roman houses are being carried out on the southeast side of the square. The simpler floor mosaics are still in place, the more artistic ones have been transferred to the Regional Archaeological Museum .
