The Gamoneu or Gamonedo is a blue cheese made from cow, sheep and goat milk, in the communities Potes , Pesaguero , Cabezon de Liebana , Camaleño , Castro Cillorigo , Tresviso and Vega de Liebana in the district of Liébana and the municipality Peñarrubia in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria will be produced. It has been a product with a protected origin since 1996 .
