Pierdomenico Baccalario (born March 6, 1974 in Acqui Terme ) is an Italian children's and youth author.

He first studied law before turning to journalism and writing books that have been translated into over 25 languages. He writes exciting fantasy books, adventure and crime stories for children and young people. His fantasy series for children, “ Ulysses Moore ”, published by Coppenrath Verlag Münster , of which 12 volumes have so far been published and have been translated into many languages, is successful .
