Piero Pacini

Piero Pacini (* around 1440 in Pescina , † around 1513 in Florence ) was an Italian printer.

Pacini was arguably the most famous Florentine publisher of the late 15th century . He specialized in Italian works with woodcut illustrations, including z. B. " Aesop's Fables " (1496) and Francesco Petrarca "Trionfi" (1499). In 1505 he printed the "Lettera delle isole nuovamente ritrovate" by Amerigo Vespucci .
