Pierre Henri Maurice Albarran (born May 18, 1893 in Chaville , † February 24, 1960 in Paris ) was a French tennis and bridge player .
Career
Albarran appeared at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp on the side of Max Décugis in the doubles competition. The two won the bronze medal after beating François Blanchy and Jacques Brugnon in the game for third place .
Far better known and more successful was Albarran in the Bridge . He was French champion 19 times and played 32 international games for France. For many years he was also director and organizer of a tournament in Monaco and wrote about bridge for various French newspapers. He was the author and co-author of numerous specialist books on bridge.
