Pierre Quesnay

Pierre Quesnay (* 1895 ; † 1937 in Saint-Léomer ) was a French bank manager. He is a descendant of François Quesnay .

During his law studies in Paris, he became a student of the economist Charles Rist . This brought him, after Quesnay had returned from the First World War, in the commission for reparations payments .

In 1926 Émile Moreau appointed him to the Banque de France .

In 1930 Quesnay became a founding director of the Bank for International Settlements .

He drowned in a pond on Émile Moreau's property.
