Pierre Soumagne (born October 1, 1987 in Soissons , France ) is a French carom player in the classic disciplines of free game , cadre and binding , in 2008 three cushion was added.

Career

Soumange won his first medal (silver) in the French youth championships (U16) in the free game in 2002, silver again the following year, and in 2004 his first title win, which he successfully defended in 2005. In 2004 and 2005 he was double French champion in this discipline, which he also won gold in the juniors (U21). In 2006 and 2007 Soumange was successful in defending his title. In Cadre 45/2 he won the title in 2004, 2005 and 2006. From 2002 to 2004 he won the Free Game European Championship (U16) three times, and in 2003 also the U21. In Cadre 47/2 he won the Juniors in 2005 and 2006. In 2008 he took part in the three-cushion European Championship for the first time and won bronze. In the men's category, he won his first national gold medal in 2006 in Cadre 47/2, which he repeated in 2008 and 2012. He was victorious in cadre 71/2 in 2007, in the free game in 2011 and 2012, in 2008 in the cover and in cadre 47/1 in 2008, 2011 and 2012, as well as five silver and eight bronze medals in the various disciplines. Soumange achieved his greatest successes at the Cadre 47/2 European Championships in 2006, 2008 and 2011 when he won the title.
