Pierre Wajoka (born December 19, 1978 in Nouméa , New Caledonia ) is a New Caledonian former football player who played for FC Gaïtcha in Nouméa and for the New Caledonian national football team. He was used on the position of midfielder and was also captain of the national team.

Career

Wajoka played for AS Magenta from 2003 to 2006 before moving to AS Lössi in the summer of 2006 . In 2007 he won the New Caledonian Cup competition. After the 2006/2007 season he signed another contract with AS Magenta. In spring 2011 he left AS Magenta and signed a contract with FC Gaïtcha .

International

The striker played for his country in qualifying for the 2006 and 2010 World Cup . He scored 7 goals in 15 qualifying games. He scored the first goal in all of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup on August 25, 2007 against Tahiti when he converted a penalty in the ninth minute to make it 1-0.
