Pieter Boelmans ter Spill (born January 26, 1886 - † October 31, 1954 ) was a Dutch football player . He played three international matches for the Dutch national football team in 1907 . His hometown club was Koninklijke HFC from Haarlem.

career

Pieter Boelmans ter Spill was a striker at the HFC from Haarlem, founded in 1879 by football pioneer Pim Mulier . In the KNVB Cup , HFC 1912/13 (4: 1 against DFC Dordrecht) and 1914/15 (1: 0 against HBS Den Haag) prevailed twice. Well-known players in the blue-whites were Mannes Francken , Ben Stom , Lothar van Gogh , Max Henny and Ferry van der Vinne .

Pieter Boelmans ter Spill made his debut on April 1, 1907 in the fifth international game of the Elftal in the national team. In The Hague, Oranje lost 8-1 to England (amateurs). In addition to captain John Heijning , he played in the center forward position and had his club mates Max Henny and Ferry van der Vinne by his side on the wings. His second appearance followed on April 14, in a 3-1 win against Belgium in Beerschot, before his international career ended with his third international match on May 9, 1907 in his home town of Haarlem, again against Belgium (1: 2).
