Pilar Revuelta
María del Pilar Revuelta is a Spanish art director and production designer who won an Oscar for Best Production Design at the 2007 Academy Awards .
Life
Pilar Revuelta began her career as an art director and production designer in the film industry in 1994 for the short film Two Over easy and has worked on the staging of over twenty films to this day.
For the Spanish- Mexican film Pan's Labyrinth (2006) by Guillermo del Toro with Ivana Baquero , Ariadna Gil and Sergi López , she won the 2007 Oscar for best production design with Eugenio Caballero and the Premio Ariel , the most important Mexican, with Caballero and Ramón Moya Film award . She was also nominated for the British Academy Film Award (BAFTA Film Award) at the British Academy Film Awards 2007 with Caballero for the production design in this film .
