The Pillow rock ( English for pillows rock is) an island-like cliff cliffs on the south coast of South Georgia . It is the easternmost feature of Hauge Reef and is 5.3 km west of Cape Darnley .
The rock got its name in the course of surveying work carried out by the British Antarctic Survey between 1975 and 1976. It is named after the pillow lava from which it is made.
