Pinghu

The city of Pinghu ( Chinese  平湖 市 , Pinyin Pínghú Shì ) is an independent city in the district-free city of Jiaxing in the north of the Chinese province of Zhejiang . Its land area has an area of ​​537 km², the sea area of ​​1,086 km², it has 480,000 inhabitants (2004). The seat of government is the street district Danghu当 湖 街道.

The estate of the Mo family (Moshi zhuangyuan 莫 氏 庄园) from the late Qing Dynasty has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-565) since 2006 .
