Pingluo ( Chinese  平罗县 , Pinyin Píngluó Xiàn ) is a Chinese county belonging to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Shizuishan on the west bank of the Yellow River in the Ningxia Autonomous Region of the Hui nation in the People's Republic of China . Pingluo has an area of ​​2,608 km² and a population of 290,000. Its main town is the large community of Chengguan (城关 镇).

The Mars crater Pinglo was named after the city in Ningxia in 1976.
