The Pinnsee is a forest lake east of Mölln in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district . It is a holdover from the last Ice Age in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park .
The approximately 2.5 hectare large lake lies in a valley and can be reached on foot or by bicycle. The lake is surrounded by forest and a small beach has been created on its eastern bank. There are more bathing spots along the lake. Due to its location in the valley, it warms up well and the water is very clear.
The lake is up to nine meters deep. It belongs to the larger part of the city of Mölln. The north-eastern area with the large swimming area belongs to the Duchy of Lauenburg district. Fishing, diving, boating, etc. are prohibited.
Above the bathing area there is an old hunting lodge that the DLRG Mölln uses as a guard house.
