Pino Sassano (born January 26, 1967 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German karateka .

Pino Sassano is considered the founder of the Fitness Fighter System and heads the Dojo Fitness Fighter Sassano. He is a kumite specialist. He is active in martial arts and trains with the four-time professional kickboxing world champion Gökhan Arslan . Between 2012 and 2015 he was the leader in the world rankings of the WKU . In 2015 Pino Sassano was able to secure the Grand Slam in karate and became German master, European champion and world champion of the WKU. In 2016 he was the only Kumite Karateka to be voted Sportsman of the Year by the WKU.

1981 Examination for brown belt in the Yoshukai style, in England (Barnsley) with Senesi Ged Tumman
1981-1984 Examination for brown belt and training with sensei Albrecht Pflüger
1984 Examination for 1st Dan with Akio Nagai in the SKI
1984 Moved to Hans Deininger in Lorch and joined the DKV
1985 Again examination for 1st Dan with Sensei Günther Mohr and Sigi Wolf in the DKV
1986 First course with Toni Dietl
1987 2nd Dan exam with Shihan Mike Foster from the USA
1988 Met Pat Mckay, his encounter with "perfection". A new chapter began for Pino Sassano
